Computer Reach Launches Curbside Pickup Option

Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Pennsylvania, local businesses, libraries, and community centers have closed their doors or limited their services to the public at this time. Because of this, families who would typically visit those locations to access a computer and the internet have been left with limited or no access to digital services during the pandemic.

To help get these families connected, Computer Reach is officially launching a “Curbside Pickup” option for community members to purchase affordable technologies in person at the Computer Reach Warehouse in Pittsburgh. In addition to Curbside Pickup, individuals can also purchase digital devices online through our Online Sales page.

About Curbside Pickup

Computer Reach’s Curbside Pickup option provides an opportunity for community members to purchase and pickup digital devices in-person by visiting our Warehouse in Wilkinsburg (1 DRV Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15221). Curbside Pickup is available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each appointment will last 30 minutes.

Due to COVID-19, we will be limiting the number of people who can visit our location at one time and will be following CDC guidelines to maintain the health and safety of our staff and the communities we serve. All individuals visiting our location must wear a face mask and practice social distancing (at least six feet from others). To purchase a device, all community members must schedule an appointment using the appointment calendar on our Curbside Pickup page. 

Curbside Pickup is limited to devices that run on Linux or Apple-based operating systems. Devices will remain on the webpage while supplies last and will be sold first-come, first-served. About Online Sales

Individuals who are unable to visit our Warehouse to purchase a device are encouraged to visit our Online Sales page to view products available for online purchase. All devices purchased through Online Sales will include a Windows 10 operating system. These devices are only available to low-income individuals and families. Because of this, proof of income will be required.
