It’s time to face it: basic life, education, and workplace requirements are moving online. To ensure that every person and family has the digital tools and skills they need to live, learn, and connect, we MUST close the digital divide.

Join Us in Closing the Digital Divide

This November, help Computer Reach get computers directly into the hands of individuals and families in need by joining us for Give Big Pittsburgh. Scheduled for November 29, 2022, Give Big Pittsburgh is an annual online giving day (tied with GivingTuesday) where community members join together to raise money for local nonprofits. The event offers:

• a one-stop website that makes donating to local nonprofits quick and easy,
• a convenient way to store tax-deductible donation receipts for all of your year-end giving,
• the ability to start your own fundraising campaigns for nonprofits you support,
• and so much more.

Take time to celebrate the giving spirit and make a difference in your local communities this holiday season by donating to causes that matter to you. The platform will open on November 29 at 12:00 a.m. and will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2022.

How You Can Participate

To support, consider making a tax-deductible donation! Individual donors like you are a crucial part of our funding. Your gift matters!

• $25 ensures that our volunteers have the supplies they need to succeed.
• $50 refurbishes a computer bundle which will be given to a local neighbor for free through our Computer Lottery program.
• $100 supports the work of our Digital Literacy Teachers who train community members on essential computer and software skills.
• $500 covers the cost of a Digital Navigator Computer Bundle and personalized 1:1 computer training for a bundle recipient.

Our Goals

Our work to bridge the digital divide would not be possible without the support of generous folks like you. This giving season, will you help us get more computers into the hands of neighbors in need by helping us reach our end-of-year goals?

• Raise a total of $10,000 by December 31, 2022.
• Gain 20 donors who haven’t donated to Computer Reach before.
• Gain 10 monthly donors (at any donation level).
